Chefs in Training - Spinach Dip

This week, the children made spinach dip all together. The children thought it amazing that the spinach would be in a bread bowl, they had no idea how it would work. So we started by making the dip. We combined yogurt, cream cheese, parmesan cheese, a little mayonnaise, pepper and garlic until very well combined and creamy. We then washed the spinach and squeezed out all the water. We added the spinach to rest of the cheese mixture and the children had fun stirring it all together. Then, we cut off the top of the rounded bread loaf and the boys tore out all the bread on the inside. We then poured the mixture inside and put the bread pieces on the side. We took it out for the rest of the children and teachers to enjoy.
